In order to provide the quality of care that our clients expect Parkside Counselling, EMDR & Hypnotherapy Centre is a private billing practice. We have structured our fees in a manner that seeks to strike a mutually sustainable balance.
Our practice supports individuals and families as well as organisations and private companies. Fess for an individual do not include GST, whereas organisational services do.
For individuals we do not bulk bill. However we will work with you to agree on a mutually sustainable fee and avoid financial stress. Services are to be paid in full at the conclusion of each session and we do not issue invoices for later payment.
Please note: Medicare rebates only apply for Better Access referrals.
For organisations, services are billed within 14 days of service on 14 day terms.

Additional services provided may attract an added fee.
The following terms apply in the event of cancelled and non attendance appointments:
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will incur a $60 fee.
- There is no charge when 24 or more hours notice is given.
- Appointments unattended without cancellation incur the full fee.
- Two non-attended appointments without cancellation will result in case closure and (if applicable) a discharge letter will be sent to the referrer.
- For clients referred under Better Access, cancellation and non-attendance fees cannot be claimed under Medicare and therefore the cost must be met by clients.
Clients will be billed at their next service appointment, or in the case where there is no further appointment, the invoice will be sent by mail or email with terms of payment within 14 days. In the case of organisations they will be billed in the normal billing cycle.
